Always with my own photos (tormented with Photoshop), or sometimes from reality, with inert models.
In any case, never from my mind,my visual memory is not exceptional... and I claim for maximal realism...

Beautiful work--the way you apply the paint is just. Ah! Really nice. Highly realistic, but at the same time has a looseness and painterly effect that adds a whole new dimension and vibrancy to the painting on a closer view. The composition and pallete of this particular piece is really eye catching.
